Ifyourvehiclehasaswitchableretractor
orlockinglatchplates,useLockingLap-
ShoulderBeltInstallationinstructions.
•UseONLY thefullyup-rightpositionwheninstalled
forward-facing.
1.Adjustthechildrestraintinto
theuprightanglepositionby
pullingthereclineadjusthandle
androtatingtheseatback
upright.Checktobesureit
locksintoposition.
2.Placethechildrestraintonthe
vehicleseatfacingforward.
Fullyextendtheseatbelt
whileholdinglapandshoulder
sectionstogether.
WARNING!
DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY
can occur
3.Makingsuretheseatbeltis
nottwisted,routetheseat
beltthroughtheforward-
facingbeltpath,thenbuckle
seatbelt.
4.Whilepressingdownonthe
armrestonthesamesideas
thevehiclebuckle,pullthe
endofthestraptotighten.
Repeatasneededuntilthe
childrestraintcannotbe
movedmorethanone inch
(2.5 cm)inanydirectionat
thebeltpath.
5.Ifyourvehiclehasatop
tetheranchors,attachand
tightenthetoptetheras
shownonpage39.
